Children's school success

This is a current project.

Description

The purpose of this project is to implement and evaluate what’s known as the Children’s School Success Curriculum Model in preschool classrooms of children at risk for school failure. Indiana University has subcontracted with five regional sites across the country, the University of Kansas among them, to test the model with four-year-old children in a total of 60 classrooms. Children at risk are defined as those living in poverty, those with identified disabilities and children who are English language learners. LSI investigators are working with the targeted population in two-three preschool classrooms in Kansas.
