Dual tasks costs to adults' language production

Description

The goal of this project is to use dual-task procedures to examine how aging affects language production. Participants are asked to play a computer game while also performing specific language tasks to determine how dual tasking affects performance.

Participant Recruiting

Individuals age 65 and older are encouraged to volunteer to participate in on-going research studies on aging, cognition, attention and problem-solving. Most studies are conducted at off-campus sites with convenient access or at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
