Multi-tiered systems of support: implementing effective evidence-based practices in community agencies meeting the needs of families with co-occurring behavioral and mental health disorders

This is a current project.

Description

The purpose of this project is to address the extensive needs of at-risk children and their parents who have co-occurring disorders and who live in Wyandotte County. This project implements a multi-tiered system of support in which the professional staff at the Wyandot Center, with support from the University of Kansas, will implement a parenting education program and a train-the-trainer professional development model to better serve families who have co-occurring disorders.
