Biobehavioral sciences in communication disorders

This is a current project.

The Biobehavioral Sciences in Communication Disorders Center (BNCD) supports research projects at the Lawrence campus and the Kansas University Medical Center in communication disorders. Research spans a wide range of issues about the causes and treatment of communications disorders from infancy to old age, including studies on infant attention, the decline of working memory in old age as reflected in speech, and developing more precise measures of hearing loss to aid cochlear implant design.
