Inclusive community gardening: food, exercise, friends and maybe money

This is a current project.

Description

Through this project, persons with disabilities across the state will have access to community garden programs that provide innovative gardening education and supports to help all people garden regardless of the disability or health limitations. The project will have five community gardening sites across the state to help ensure participation by individuals on a statewide basis.

Materials created and utilized by the project will be accessible and available in multiple formats. Meetings will be held in accessible buildings that are located along community bus routes to help persons who use community transportation participate in the educational meetings.
