Tertiary intervention: The K-I (Kansas-Illinois) Center

This is a current project.

Description

This project is funding a model demonstration center with schools in Kansas and Illinois. Its focus is to address how to establish a sustainable, systemic approach so that schools and school districts can support students with complex behavioral, emotional and academic needs using School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (SWPBS). The project is designed to recognize and address the system-level challenges of meeting the needs of all students and their families within the context of the school setting and how individual supports and interventions for students with complex needs can be more effectively and efficiently provided.
