Description

The purpose of this project is to increase and enhance the interdependence and full participation in the community of people with disabilities. The MICL project is a consortium based at KU, with the other partners at Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Oregon and the University of Montana. By using scientifically sound and theoretically driven interventions and measures, this project will support effective community living solutions and policy change. The center includes seven projects that focus on enhanced community participation, the economic utility of policies and practices, and intervention approaches to remove or reduce barriers to community participation.
