Clinical child researcher cited for mentorship of grad students
An LSI-affiliated researcher was one of two recipients of the 2016 Byron A. Alexander Graduate Mentor Award at KU. Paula Fite, associate professor of clinical child psychology and applied behavioral science, was recognized by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for her efforts to help graduate students make the most of their KU experience. Last year she won the Barbara Schowen Undergraduate Research Mentor Award at KU. Fite studies developmental models of risk for child and adolescent problem behavior.
