Watts visits Australia
Amber Watts, an assistant professor of clinical psychology with the Gerontology Center, was invited to spend the 2015 fall semester as a visiting research professor at the Australian National University in Canberra. She worked on projects as part of a large Australian population-based longitudinal study of aging and health funded by the Centre for Excellence in Population Aging Research.
Her research on the impact of neighborhood walkability on cognitive decline in older adults has been cited in US News & World Report’s health newsletter and on the program “The Best of Our Knowledge,” produced by WAMC Public Radio at Mt. Holyoke College.
