Post-Doctoral Research Training Program in Special Education: Evidence-Base

Post-Doctoral Research Training Program in Special Education: Evidence-Base

The University of Kansas/Juniper Gardens Children’s Project postdoctoral research training program will provide postdoctoral fellows with innovative experiences in designing, implementing and evaluating research carried out with community partners leading to new evidence-based practices.

The overarching goal of this program is to prepare 4 fellows (each with two years of training) to conduct, translate, and disseminate methodologically rigorous research with high relevance to early intervention practice and policy standards. The program will support the acquisition of knowledge and technical skills critical for carrying out early intervention and early learning research in community-based settings.
